We are proud of:
András Hegedűs, executive manager, Info-Tech Digital Ltd.
I can think of the time spent at PEN with affection, of the carefree dormitory years, the parties, the friendships. My career started here: after college I worked as a system administrator at the Campus. The knowledge gained at the BSc Computer Science Engineering programme and the many determining contacts contributed to my starting my own business in 2009. At first, I took on web and application design and I did system administration. After the initial success I extended my business with an IT shop, which was followed by graphic and press services. Now I work with 4-6 people in the field of IT and online and offline marketing. Despite the fact that I do not belong to the Campus any more, the daily work contacts and friendships keep us together.
Krisztián Csere, Networking Architect, General Electric Global Network Infrastructure
I started my studies at the Faculty of Information Technology as an IT engineer. It is not a secret that beside the excellent and up-to-date education one of the biggest attractions of the Kanizsa Campus is the familiar atmosphere and the friendly community: I cannot even count how many nice and jolly experiences I have thanks to the friendships that still work. Looking back I believe we did a lot to build traditions and the community. Not even a good school can provide you with all the knowledge to become a good professional, however, it is essentially important for future success by providing a firm basis, adequate support and by widening your knowledge. Thanks to the varied subjects, alternative and elective possibilities and the laboratories you do not only receive a degree but you get a valid passport to the team of top professionals.
Orsolya Horváth, executive manager, Hévíz Tourism Non-profit Ltd.
What can a good degree give you apart from a couple of unforgettable university years? I was given the possibility to try myself in programme organization, project management, tourism development and marketing. An insight into the civil, the state and the business enterprise sector and participation in national and international projects. A choice to find what I am really interested in and a basis for further development. What the Campus will give you will only depend on you but it is for sure that the University of Pannonia in Nagykanizsa will stand by you with its young and modern approach.
Andrea Gorontay, executive manager, InnoWell Team Ltd. and co-owner, MORGENS Design Ltd.
I first got into contact with PEN in 2003 in the BSc Tourism and Catering programme and then I returned in 2014 to start the masters programme. These two MBA years were not only spent with a lot of studying but beside the new skills I found new friends and a new self of mine, as well: the self that can work even harder 😊. Familiar atmosphere instead of a uniformized school? The teachers at PEN take care of you like a good parent, assist you throughout the years spent here. I received one of the biggest acknowledgements of my life at PEN in July 2016 when I received the Golden Pen Award because learning and the continuous development at work go hand in hand. And they do not forget about it. I do not believe in miracles but in persistent and hard work, in the power of common sense, constant learning and being up-to-date. Find your way in Nagykanizsa, the possibilities welcome you. I can tell you that confidently as the co-owner, executive manager of InnoWell Team Ltd. and the co-owner and active member of MORGENS Design Ltd, two local, continuously developing firms.
Krisztián Ákos Koloszár, Hotel Director, Airport Hotel Budapest****
The 43 students formed a well-united community with our teachers in the first grade of the first year.
We organized several events and had wonderful experiences when going on professional trips to different countries every year. After graduation I started to work at Danubius Hotel Lővér****, where I shortly became the sales manager. Soon I was asked to manage a travel agency but after two years my career led back to the hotel industry when I became the marketing director of Hotel Fagus****. Thanks to the knowledge gained at PEN, the hard and persistent work and the experience gained here, I was asked by the Airport Hotel Budapest**** to be its hotel director. Finally, if I can wish you something: apply for a programme at PEN because you can have success with its excellent training, as well.
